I do like these types of role plays, so I'm going to make one. This story does not have a main plot, I'm hoping for just a lighthearted role play where the characters go on to complete the goals that they started off with.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokemon! Today, trainers around the world will be leaving their homes to travel around the world. You have either caught or were given your first pokemon, and are ready to start as well. You meet up with a couple of other trainers, and your adventure across the region begins.

Rules:
-Please do not start with an evolved pokemon
-You do not need to start with a "starter" pokemon.
-While not mandatory, name all the pokemon you catch
-Do not G-modding or Powerplay.
-The password is the name of your starting pokemon
-Pokemon do not have to be caught from wild battles only. I think it should be the most common way, but I don't want to restrict it as the ONLY way.
-Regarding the above, please do not abuse that and say things like "<trainer> Received five legendary pokemon from <person> as a gift of gratitude!" Or something of the sort. Be realistic, or realistic by pokemon standards.
-Region is to be negotiated. Pokemon from any region are accepted, however.
